
The Heli Temperature Sensor Division has a global leading position in the field of high-order platinum thin film temperature sensors, focusing on the high-order industrial and automotive fields for over a century, providing excellent temperature ranges (from -200 ° C to -1000 ° C), high-precision measurement, and high stability. Its headquarters is located in Hanau, Germany, and it has two production and manufacturing bases in Germany and Malaysia, with a total of approximately 480 employees. Heli’s Temperature Sensor Division provides a variety of platinum film temperature sensing components in various formats, including wire sensors, SMD (Surface Mount Device) sensors, and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) sensors, to meet the various design needs of clients. As of 2021, 60% of the revenue of Heraeus Temperature Sensor Division comes from high-end markets such as North America and Europe, and 100% of the revenue comes from industrial and automotive customers. Its revenue in 2021 was 78.46 million euros (approximately 2.45 billion New Taiwan dollars).
Guoju Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guoju; stock code: 2327 TW) and Heraeus Holding GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Heraeus) announced today that they have reached a final agreement. Guoju will acquire Heraeus Nexensos GmbH, the advanced temperature sensor division of Heraeus Industrial Group, for cash, with an expected total transaction amount of approximately 79.4 million euros, equivalent to 2.48 billion New Taiwan dollars. This transaction has been approved by the board of directors of both companies. This acquisition implements Guohongtuan’s operational strategy of continuously focusing on high-order niche fields, further expanding its highly designed product portfolio, and becoming a leading supplier of high-end electronic component solutions.
